Jim gets an Award
Jim receives an Exceptional Merit Award from the Mayor and Police Chief. He has been stabbed, shot at and missed, three or four wrecks, peed on, spit on and in wrestling matches with some pretty big women and men! Twice I found out about "Officer Hurt" on the 11 0'clock news. Police are required to carry a weapon at all times. When we would get together for cook outs or 'SHRIMP PARTIES', there would be guns covering the top of the fridge, but not one kid even "THOUGHT" about touching them. My, how times have changed.
